Material testing facilities of Chemical, Hardness, Tensile, Microscopic are available. Non-Destructive testing of liquid penetration, ultrasonic crack detentions, Radiography is also available. Pressure testing (Pneumatic, hydraulic or oil) Vacuum testing is done at required pressure. Facilities exist for recording deformation permanent or temporary during pressure testing. Paint film thickness and adhesion test also conducted. A full fledged testing laboratory “Field Testing Station established by the Government of India” is adjacent to the works. This laboratory provides all facilities for materials and process testing.
